Safdaria Girls’ High School, Hyderabad was established by Sugra Humayun Mirza Wakf in 1934. The school caters to the educational needs of close to 500 young girls across kindergarten through grade 10. The school empowers underprivileged girl students enabling them to grow into independent, confident and responsible citizens. It largely provides Urdu-medium education and vocational training to students of the higher grades. The erudite team at Safdaria strives to provide equal opportunities and enriching experiences to the school’s students. In 1999 it earned the unique distinction of being the first Urdu-medium school in Telangana and Andhra Pradesh to have an army wing of the NCC inducted with a troop of 100 cadets.
