Kings College London (KCL)

Kings College London (KCL) is a reputed public research university often ranked among the top 25-30 Universities globally & in the top 10 in the UK. Their School of Education, Communication & Society has been at the forefront of teacher education and education research in England for many decades; and has a dedicated Centre for Research in Education in Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM)

UK’s first MA STEM Education program was set up by KCL with support from Wipro in 2018. Following a successful launch in 2019, the program is now in its second year.

In addition to the development of the program, we have supported twenty seven bursaries to date, enabling teachers from across the UK to study on the MA STEM Education program.

The list of bursary awardees reflects diversity across STEM subjects, in grades (e.g. primary-12th), and in geographical location. Several awardees work in ‘cold spot’ regions or in other areas outside the bigger cities. All awardees are committed to school senior leadership and show great passion for STEM education. Many of the 1st cohort students have already taken leadership roles in their respective schools and community.
